It is a matter of great pride and privilege that our Vidyalaya has once again been recognised by Careers360 in its India’s Best Schools 2026 assessment , receiving an AAA+ rating under the Day School category for the academic year 2025–26. Careers360 follows a data-driven evaluation process, considering key aspects such as academic performance, faculty quality and other aspects of school quality. This is the second time our Vidyalaya has received this recognition, making it a truly special moment for the entire CV Tattamangalam family. Great enthusiasm for the festival of Raksha Bandhan is visible among young children. To make it even more special, the Department of Posts (India Post) organized a Rakhi-making competition. This competition was held at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro on Monday, August 3. Principal Suraj Sharma, Senior Vice Principal Narmendra Kumar, and Vice Principal Dr. Roshan Sharma were present during the event. Five representatives from the Department of Posts were also present to help dispatch the beautiful Rakhis made by the students. Students creatively participated in the Rakhi-making competition, crafting attractive Rakhis and posting them. The objective of this initiative was to promote creativity, strengthen emotional bonds, and provide students with an opportunity to express their love and affection toward their siblings. More than 50 students participated in this event. The competition was conducted under the guidance of the school's art teacher, Soma Roy. Principal Suraj Sharma said that the relationship between a brother and sister is the most sacred bond in the world. Art and creativity are not merely means of entertainment, but a powerful medium to express one's emotions. He thanked India Post and encouraged the students to participate in more such competitions in the future.

Aradhana Day

The Aradhana Diwas of Param Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati is observed every year on 3rd August. It was on this sacred day in 1993 that Gurudev attained Mahasamadhi. To commemorate the occasion, Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro organized a series of devotional and spiritual programmes on Monday, 3rd August, paying heartfelt tribute to the visionary saint and founder of the Chinmaya Mission. The celebrations were graced by the divine presence of Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati, Resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission Bokaro, along with Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, Principal Suraj Sharma, Senior Vice-Principal Narmendra Kumar, and Vice-Principal Dr. Roshan Sharma. The observance commenced in the morning at Tapovan Hall, where students of the Senior Wing offered Aarti in reverence to Gurudev and reflected on his inspiring life and teachings. Devotional bhajans and speeches presented by the students filled the atmosphere with spiritual fervour. On the occasion, 17 Bal Sevaks were honoured with Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their dedicated completion of 120 hours of selfless service to society. Students of Classes XI and XII chanted “Om Sadgurave Namah” eleven times, invoking the blessings and wisdom of Gurudev, while students of the Middle and Junior Wings recited the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra eleven times, praying for peace, strength, and universal well-being. Through devotional songs and inspiring speeches, the students beautifully highlighted the timeless values and ideals exemplified by Gurudev. In the evening, a special Aradhana Puja was conducted by Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati in the school’s Visitors’ Chamber. Teachers and staff members offered their reverential tributes by chanting the Chinmaya Ashtottara Shatanamavali (108 sacred names of Pujya Gurudev), creating an atmosphere of deep devotion and gratitude. Addressing the gathering, Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati urged everyone to dedicate themselves to the welfare of others, cultivate noble virtues through prayer, and nurture a positive outlook towards life. She remarked that the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, as expounded by Pujya Gurudev, continues to inspire millions not only in India but across the world. Describing Gurudev as an ocean of knowledge and compassion, she said that sincerely imbibing his teachings brings profound transformation, inner peace, and lasting positivity to one’s life.

Report on the Virtual Interactive Session on "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat" Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco Colony, Jamshedpur Date: 2 August 2026 Time: 9:45 a.m. Mode: Virtual Interactive Session Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco Colony, Jamshedpur, had the distinct privilege of participating in the Virtual Interactive Session on "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat" addressed by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, on 2 August 2026. The school was honoured to be selected as one of the Pilot schools under Chinmaya Mission for this prestigious nationwide initiative, making the occasion a matter of immense pride for the entire school fraternity. ARRANGEMENT ARRAY PROGRESSION STRING OF THE PROGRAMME : The programme commenced with a prayer at followed by an address by Sir Man Singh (Vice Principal V.B.C.V.) A documentary showcasing the significance of the occasion was screened. This was followed by the students taking the pledge. The main programme formally commenced at 10:45 a.m. We had 310 students and 30 teachers attending this informative and prestigious session. Awareness Session on Drug De-addiction was conducted at our Vidyalaya KEY TAKEAWAYS OF THE SESSION NASHA MUKT YUVA FOR VIKSIT BHARAT: The programme formed a significant milestone under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA), a flagship campaign of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, launched on 15 August 2020 to combat substance abuse through awareness, prevention, community participation and rehabilitation. The campaign envisions a healthy, responsible and empowered India by safeguarding its youth from the menace of drugs and substance abuse. The session also marked the launch of "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat", an ambitious 100-week Jan Bhagidari Movement aimed at mobilising the youth of the nation to become ambassadors of a drug-free India. The campaign seeks to inspire students, educational institutions, volunteers and communities to work collectively towards the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047. Students and teachers of Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya assembled in the designated venue well before the commencement of the programme. The session began with an introduction to the objectives of the campaign, highlighting the importance of creating awareness against substance abuse among the younger generation. Addressing millions of students across the country, the Hon'ble Prime Minister emphasized that the strength of a nation lies in the character, discipline and determination of its youth. He urged young minds to stay away from drugs, develop healthy habits, pursue sports and cultural activities, and become active contributors towards nation-building. He highlighted that drug addiction not only destroys an individual's future but also weakens families and society. The Prime Minister called upon every student to become a messenger of awareness and encourage others to choose a life of health, responsibility and purpose. The interactive session reinforced the message that prevention through awareness and education is the strongest weapon against substance abuse. Students were encouraged to build resilience, make informed choices, seek guidance whenever required and support their peers in leading a positive lifestyle. The programme also stressed the collective responsibility of schools, parents, teachers and communities in nurturing a drug-free society. During the programme, students enthusiastically participated in the Drug-Free India Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to remain free from all forms of substance abuse and to inspire others to adopt healthy and value-based lifestyles. The pledge reflected the ideals of responsible citizenship, self-discipline and social commitment. The initiative highlighted several important developments under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, including the nationwide expansion of the campaign to all districts, the strengthening of de-addiction facilities, community outreach programmes, and the launch of the NMBA 2.0 App, designed to enhance monitoring and implementation of awareness activities across the country. Being chosen for this landmark, reinforced the school's commitment to holistic education rooted in the values of the Chinmaya Vision Programme. The programme beautifully aligned with the institution's emphasis on character building, self-discipline, moral values, patriotism and responsible citizenship. The session concluded on an inspiring note, leaving students motivated to become ambassadors of the "Say No to Drugs" movement. They pledged to spread awareness among their families, friends and communities, recognising that a healthy youth forms the foundation of a strong and developed nation. The Virtual Interactive Session proved to be an enlightening and impactful experience. It not only deepened students' understanding of the harmful effects of substance abuse but also inspired them to actively contribute towards the national mission of building a drug-free, healthy and developed India. The programme successfully instilled a sense of responsibility, patriotism and social consciousness among the participants, making it a memorable and meaningful learning experience for the entire Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya Family.

As part of the nationwide initiative "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat" organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, a special programme launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on Sunday, August 2nd 2026. Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vaduthala is among the 10 selected schools to interact with the Hon'ble Prime Minister.
