Chinmaya International Residential School proudly hosted “Khel Mela – CIRS Sports Meet 2026” on February 3 and 4, 2026, with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation from students across all grades. The Opening Ceremony was presided over by Dr. M. S. Nagarajan, Ph.D., Regional Sports Director, Special Olympics Bharat, who inspired the gathering with his encouraging words on sportsmanship and perseverance. Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director (Academics & Administration), graced the occasion and motivated students to strive for excellence both on and off the field. The two-day event showcased remarkable athletic talent, teamwork, discipline, and true sporting spirit, making Khel Mela 2026 a grand success.

Where wheels whispered rhythm and courage found its glide… ✨🛼 At the Inter-School Roller Skating Championship – Season 1, conducted by TYSA International Roller Sports Arena, our young skaters carved their mark with grace, grit, and glowing determination. Competing with passion and precision, our Vidyalaya proudly emerged as 🥈 1st Runner-Up. With the spirited participation of 30+ students, every skater stood tall with a position to their credit—transforming effort into excellence and practice into pride. Beyond medals, this achievement celebrates discipline, teamwork, and the joy of learning through sport.

Through Generation Global—an initiative of the International Baccalaureate Organization— our students discovered that the world is not divided by differences, but united through dialogue and understanding. ✨ Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tattamangalam proudly shines as the top-performing Chinmaya Vidyalaya on the Generation Global platform. With eager hearts and open minds, our learners completed the maximum learning modules and engaged meaningfully in global video conferences, embodying the true spirit of global citizenship. The school years are considered the happiest and the golden period of anyone's life. Success in life is built upon the knowledge and values ​​learned during student life... A farewell ceremony was organized for the Class 12 students of the 2025-26 batch at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro on 31st January 2026. Amidst songs, music, and glimpses of old memories, all the students bid farewell with teary eyes. Chief Guest for the ceremony was Acharya Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati of Chinmaya Mission, Bokaro. Also present were the President of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro, Shri Biswarup Mukhopadhyay, Secretary Shri Mahesh Tripathi, Principal Shri Suraj Sharma, and Vice-Principal Shri Narmendra Kumar. The ceremony was conducted and organized by the students of Classes 10 and 11. Mr. Subrata Gupta was the main coordinator of the entire ceremony.

CHINMAYA AMRIT YATRA

Our students chanted Gita Panchamruta shlokas for 5 times today

Students of Grade 7 from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode presented a role play based on Chapter 9 of the Bhagavad Gita as part of their value-based learning activities. The presentation focused on conveying the core message of devotion, faith, and surrender through simple enactments and dialogues. The students demonstrated good understanding, teamwork, and sincerity in expressing the teachings of the Gita in an engaging and relatable manner. Such activities encourage experiential learning and help students connect classical spiritual knowledge with everyday life, reinforcing the holistic educational vision of Chinmaya Mission.

The Samasti Gītā Chanting emerged as a monumental spiritual gathering, marked by the participation of nearly 3,500 participants—students, teachers, parents, and staff—united in a single, resonant voice. The sheer scale of the event transformed the chanting into a powerful collective experience, where individual voices dissolved into one harmonious flow of sacred sound.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode proudly showcases the prize-winning performance of Class VI A on Gita Panchamrit – Sloka 2. The students presented the sloka with clarity, discipline, and expressive understanding, reflecting the essence of the Bhagavad Gita and the values it imparts. The performance stood out for its confident recitation and meaningful presentation, earning appreciation and recognition. This event highlights Chinmaya Vidyalaya’s continued commitment to value-based education, cultural awareness, and the holistic development of students through spiritual and academic learning.
