The session on "Stress Management" was facilitated by resource persons Shri Rahul Roy and Smt. Supriya Choudhary. Concurrently, the session on "Attitude of Gratitude" was led by the Chairman of the institution, Shri Biswaroop Mukhopadhyay. The event was attended by the Secretary, Shri Mahesh Tripathi; Principal, Shri Suraj Sharma; Senior Vice Principal, Shri Narmendra Kumar; and Vice Principal, Dr. Roshan Sharma, alongside the entire teaching faculty and staff members. Key Sessions and Proceedings 1. Stress Management: Understanding the Core Dimensions Initiating the workshop, resource person Shri Rahul Roy delivered an in-depth presentation on the origins, causes, and various dimensions of stress. He emphasized that a stress-laden lifestyle acts as a detriment to educators, warning that such negative energy can inadvertently impact students during classroom interactions. He urged the faculty to identify and actively distance themselves from personal and professional stressors. Building upon the discourse, Smt. Supriya Choudhary focused on practical stress-management strategies. She highlighted the critical responsibility of educators to effectively address and resolve stressors affecting both themselves and their students. Smt. Choudhary shared several pragmatic and impactful recommendations for eliminating stress, underscoring the absolute necessity of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. 2. Cultivating an Attitude of Gratitude Deliberating on the "Attitude of Gratitude," Chairman Shri Biswaroop Mukhopadhyay posited that educators must embody gratitude within themselves before attempting to instill it in students. He said, "Inspire students through your core values, ensuring they remember and internalize these principles throughout their lives. Significant systemic change is always achieved through progressive, small steps." Shri Mukhopadhyay further expounded on the philosophy of Pancha Yajna (the five sacred duties), concluding that the spirit of thankfulness cannot merely be taught through conventional pedagogy; rather, it must be deeply internalized and demonstrated through action.
