Chinmaya International Residential School proudly hosted “Khel Mela – CIRS Sports Meet 2026” on February 3 and 4, 2026, with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation from students across all grades. The Opening Ceremony was presided over by Dr. M. S. Nagarajan, Ph.D., Regional Sports Director, Special Olympics Bharat, who inspired the gathering with his encouraging words on sportsmanship and perseverance. Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director (Academics & Administration), graced the occasion and motivated students to strive for excellence both on and off the field. The two-day event showcased remarkable athletic talent, teamwork, discipline, and true sporting spirit, making Khel Mela 2026 a grand success.

Where wheels whispered rhythm and courage found its glide… ✨🛼 At the Inter-School Roller Skating Championship – Season 1, conducted by TYSA International Roller Sports Arena, our young skaters carved their mark with grace, grit, and glowing determination. Competing with passion and precision, our Vidyalaya proudly emerged as 🥈 1st Runner-Up. With the spirited participation of 30+ students, every skater stood tall with a position to their credit—transforming effort into excellence and practice into pride. Beyond medals, this achievement celebrates discipline, teamwork, and the joy of learning through sport.

Through Generation Global—an initiative of the International Baccalaureate Organization— our students discovered that the world is not divided by differences, but united through dialogue and understanding. ✨ Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Tattamangalam proudly shines as the top-performing Chinmaya Vidyalaya on the Generation Global platform. With eager hearts and open minds, our learners completed the maximum learning modules and engaged meaningfully in global video conferences, embodying the true spirit of global citizenship. Nurtured by inspiring mentors and driven by a passion to connect, our students proved that learning knows no boundaries—and that the future speaks with empathy and courage

Giridhar D. S., a student of Standard XI (Computer Science), has actively participated in the 68th National School Archery Championship/Tournament (2024–25) in the Under-17 category and the 69th National School Games (2025–26) in Archery – Boys Under-19 category. In recognition of his dedication and achievements in the field of archery, he has been honoured with the Alankar Award instituted by CCMT.
