The Bala Vihar Programme was successfully conducted at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kollengode for students of Grades 1 to 5. The session was designed to provide holistic learning by integrating value-based education with interactive activities. The programme included bhajans, storytelling, group activities, and simple science experiments, encouraging curiosity, participation, and moral development among students. Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode organised a Plaque Installation Ceremony to commemorate the 75th glorious year of Chinmaya Mission, marking a significant milestone in its spiritual and educational journey. This sacred event was graciously blessed by H.H. Swami Asheshananda, Acharya, Chinmaya Mission Palakkad. The ceremony stood as a humble tribute to the vision and legacy of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, whose timeless teachings continue to inspire generations through value-based education and spiritual wisdom. The occasion reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to upholding the ideals of Chinmaya Mission and nurturing young minds rooted in culture, knowledge, and character.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode conducted the Vidya Gopala Mantra Archana for Grade X and XII students. The pooja was led by H.H. Swami Asheshanandaji and was marked by sincere mantra chanting and prayer. The programme provided students with an opportunity to seek blessings, develop inner strength, and approach their academic responsibilities with confidence and clarity. The event reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing students through value-based education and spiritual grounding.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its students, who have brought laurels to the institution through their excellence in academics and sports. Arshitha N (Class VII) secured 1st Prize in the U-13 Girls category at the Coimbatore District Open Chess Tournament, showcasing remarkable strategic thinking and focus. Shreyas R (Class IV) won 1st Prize in the Inter School Roller Skating Competition (Cadet Level) 2026–27, demonstrating skill, confidence, and determination. Aathmika Ajith (Class V) achieved 2nd Prize at the Chittur Taluk Library Council Sargotsavam 2026, reflecting her enthusiasm and commitment to learning. These achievements stand as a testament to the holistic education and value-based learning nurtured at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode. Students of Grade 7 from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode presented a role play based on Chapter 9 of the Bhagavad Gita as part of their value-based learning activities. The presentation focused on conveying the core message of devotion, faith, and surrender through simple enactments and dialogues. The students demonstrated good understanding, teamwork, and sincerity in expressing the teachings of the Gita in an engaging and relatable manner. Such activities encourage experiential learning and help students connect classical spiritual knowledge with everyday life, reinforcing the holistic educational vision of Chinmaya Mission.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode proudly showcases the prize-winning performance of Class VI A on Gita Panchamrit – Sloka 2. The students presented the sloka with clarity, discipline, and expressive understanding, reflecting the essence of the Bhagavad Gita and the values it imparts. The performance stood out for its confident recitation and meaningful presentation, earning appreciation and recognition. This event highlights Chinmaya Vidyalaya’s continued commitment to value-based education, cultural awareness, and the holistic development of students through spiritual and academic learning.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kollengode organised a meaningful student drama titled “Gita Panchamrit”, showcasing the essence of the five nectar-like teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. The students conveyed profound values such as dharma, devotion, selfless action, inner discipline, and spiritual wisdom through expressive performances and impactful dialogues. The presentation reflected how the timeless message of the Gita continues to inspire young minds to lead purposeful, value-based lives. The event stood as a tribute to India’s rich spiritual heritage and echoed the vision of Swami Chinmayananda, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education rooted in Indian culture and universal values.

A spiritually enriching session titled “Gateway to Success” was conducted on 27 January 2026, led by H. H. Swami Chidroopananda. The discourse drew profound insights from the Shanti Parva of the Mahabharata, particularly through the Story of the Camel, highlighting the importance of self-reliance, personal responsibility, and trusting one’s own judgement while performing one’s duties. Swamiji elaborated on the timeless wisdom conveyed through a powerful śloka from the Vidura Nīti section of the Udyoga Parva, where Vidura advises King Dhritarashtra on the six obstacles that hinder a person’s progress and success—excessive sleep, lethargy, fear, anger, laziness, and procrastination. The session offered valuable guidance on cultivating discipline, clarity of thought, and inner strength, inspiring participants to overcome personal limitations and walk steadily on the path of growth and success. 🙏 Hari Om

77th Republic Day Celebration – Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kollengode Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kollengode celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The programme highlighted a special mime performance by our students, which beautifully conveyed the values of unity, sacrifice, discipline, and respect for the Indian Constitution. Through expressive visuals and silent narration, the students reflected the true spirit of the Republic and inspired the audience to uphold the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

Chinmaya Science Olympiad was successfully conducted on 21 January 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Olympiad provided students with an excellent platform to apply scientific concepts, enhance analytical thinking, and demonstrate their problem-solving skills. Students participated with enthusiasm and concentration, reflecting their preparation and curiosity for learning science. The examination was conducted smoothly under the able supervision of the invigilators, Ms. Praveena C. K. and Ms. Akarsha Santhosh, ensuring a disciplined and well-organized academic environment.
